, visited 4th and 5th grade students at NHE on Monday, March 23rd. Mr. Hicks, a graduate of Evans High School, encouraged students to learn more about the most influential author in the English language. Thanks to The Book Tavern

The Board of Education has voted to merge the two schools beginning the 2015-16 school year. Mrs. LaJuana Quarles has been named the prinicpal of the combined schools beginning the 2014-15 school year, with Cindy Scoggins as the vice-principal.
